About Atalie

Coming from a Humanistic and Strengths-Based approach, I believe deeply in each individual’s fullest potential and their ability to fulfill it.

I passionately believe that empowering the relationship with the self allows one to effectively cultivate healthier relationships with others. My belief in the significance of fostering a strong relationship with the self stems from an understanding that it is the longest and most intimate relationship we have.

I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities in my work, including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches.

I believe in tailoring these tools to meet each individual’s unique needs.

Without darkness, there is no such definition for light.

Light isn’t the absence of darkness—it’s the meaning we find in experiencing both.

If you're ready to step toward your light, I’m here to walk the path with you.

My bilingual fluency in both Hebrew and English has allowed me to connect with a wider range of individuals and understand the intricacies that language and culture bring to a person’s identity and self-expression.

I became certified as a Registered Yoga Teacher in Koh Samui, Thailand and nurture a deep study of mindfulness practices, breathwork, and the power of cultivating a stance of non-judgement, self-study, and compassion. This learning has broadened my fundamental understanding of the profound impact of addressing trauma work at the somatic level.

In addition to my work as a therapist, I am an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology, where I assist current graduate students with treatment planning, problem-solving their client cases, and supporting their development as future clinicians and therapists.
